What`s better than a lovely wig? Or lots of lovely wigs...

I honestly love wigs very much and like trying around for new interesting techniques, whether it`s just with a pair of scissors and hairspray or also with a hot glue gun, latex, putty, curling iron and Copics ;)

My favourite wig styling tips and tricks:

1. If you need a really thick wig or extra hair for a sidecut or a glued hairline purchase a longer wig than neccessary, cut some of the fibers and glue them in with a hot gluegun between the existant tresses.

2. For a sidecut or undercut you can just cut the wig hair down really short in the desired area, add some lace (or whatever you prefer) and carefully glue leftover fibers from the wig onto it. (I also use my hot glue gun and sometimes coloured glue for this)

3. For completely bald parts and ornaments you can harden that part of the wig with glue and then add Latex or putty with makeup  to make it look more natural.

4. For really fluffy and natural curls you can add hairspray before using the curling iron (make sure it`s still wet while curling it), then carefully brush through the hardened curls and eventually add hairspray again. (This might only work with short and light wigs though)

5. Adding hairspray and using the hair dryer right afterwards while Holding the hair in place freezes the style ;)

6. Your character has gradient hair? you can dye the tips (or roots) of your wig with Copics and similar markers! (Sometimes acrylic paint works as well, but that`s usually a huge mess...)
